Data Center Expansion

This project included an expansion of the existing facility with a new, separated data center that was designed and built to Tier IV and F3 (214 mph) standards and registered with LEED® requirements. Critical to cooling the data center space was U.S. Engineering’s installation of large air handling units located in mechanical utility corridors along both sides of white space.

MECHANICAL HIGHLIGHTS 

• 2,600-ton chilled water plant with water-cooled and air-cooled chillers
• cast-in-place cooling towers
• 2 65,000-gallon chilled water storage takes
• 1 85,000-gallon condenser water storage tank
• fuel oil storage and piping system for generators
