Colorado Territorial Correctional Facility

U.S. Engineering served as the mechanical contractor for a renovation project that was established for Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs). The project team completed construction on schedule, despite “lock downs” that required the stoppage of work and strict materials tracking. As part of the construction, the U.S. Engineering project team routed a 400-ft. gas line into the existing steam and gun tunnels, which ran beneath the river. As a result of this project, the Colorado Territorial Correction Facility saw significant energy savings.
