June brought U.S. Engineering Team Members together across regions for events that reflect who we are beyond the jobsite, giving back to veterans, first responders, children, and communities in need, all while investing in the next generation of talent.

RM USE Construction Hosts 10th Annual Golf Tournament Benefiting High Plains Honor Flight
On June 12, the Rocky Mountain USE Construction team hosted its 10th Annual Golf Tournament benefiting the High Plains Honor Flight (HPHF). The milestone tournament welcomed 144 golfers, including USE Team Members, trade partners, sponsors, clients, and engineers.
Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, golfers, and volunteers, including the RM 2026 Intern Class, the event raised over $100,000 for HPHF. The High Plains Honor Flight serves veterans from Northen Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska, providing them with a trip to Washington, D.C., to visit national monuments and receive the welcome home the deserve.
A special thank you to the Golf Committee for their year-round planning and dedication.

DfMA Launches First Annual Golf Tournament Benefiting ChildSafe
The U.S. Engineering Innovations DfMA team hosted its first annual golf tournament benefiting ChildSafe, a Northen Colorado nonprofit providing therapy for children impacted by physical and sexual abuse. The event brought together 60 golfers, including Team Members alongside vendors and supplies.
Beyond the competition, the day created meaningful space for connection and partnership. Combined with a company match, the tournament resulted in the largest single donation ChildSafe has received to date.
We look forward to making this an annual tradition and continuing to build a lasting legacy through this event.

Supporting Kansas City’s First Responders Through Guns N Hoses
USE Team Members supported the Kansas City Guns N Hoses event, an annual fundraiser hosted by the Kansas City Metropolitan Crime Commission (KCMCC) since 2005. SAFE provides financial assistance, including immediate relief within 24 to 48 hours, to the families of first responders killed or catastrophically injured in the line of duty across a 12-county coverage area. U.S. Engineering Metalworks President Kevin Sears serves on the KCMCC Board.

2026 Interns Invest in Communities Across Every Region
This summer, USE interns are putting philanthropy into action across regions, each finding a way to contribute to the communities where they’re working.
In the Midwest, interns organized Flying for Freedom, a paper airplane competition raising funds and food donations for the Veterans Community Project. The event drew participation from all USE companies.
In Rocky Mountain, interns participated in the Adopt-A-Street program, keeping local streets clean before a summer storm rolled in. Remote interns are also finding ways to give back in the areas where they’re working, supporting local causes such as food banks and other community organizations.
