Tim Moormeier, President of U.S. Engineering Company Holdings, and Ron King, Global Estimating Manager at Trimble, co-presented the new training video for WebLEM+ Plus estimating software. Plus is the next generation of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA)’s WebLEM software that provides estimators a comprehensive approach to labor estimating.

Moormeier is no stranger to this program. As a registered engineer in four states and a LEED®-accredited professional, he has been an MCAA WebLEM committee member since 2003, co-chairing since 2006. In March he was featured in a Dodge Data & Analytics SmartMarket Report on “The Business Value of BIM,” explaining how WebLEM leads the digital drive toward industry-wide standardization, particularly within BIM platforms.

Ultimately the MCAA hopes WebLEM will provide the building blocks to an industry-wide standardization within the BIM platform, cataloguing labor units for each piece of manufactured equipment toward a given project.
