The renovated CUP provides energy-efficient systems that will result in lower long-term operating costs. To ensure that the hospital remained fully operational during construction, U.S. Engineering’s CHC-certified project managers routed the entire hospital through temporary boilers and chillers. The team coordinated with several hospital units and contractors to effectively communicate hospital tie-in shut downs through line freezes and off-hour work.
