As prime contractor, U.S. Engineering was responsible for coordinating design, engineering, electrical, controls, insulation, water treatment and general construction activities.

The project featured a redesign and replacement of an existing chiller and associated parts as well as plumbing-fixture replacement at George Washington High School. Teams were presented with several challenges—short bid duration, equipment release, working in finished buildings, hazardous materials risk—but successfully completed the job.
