On Friday, June 10, our Rocky Mountain region team held its 6^th annual golf tournament benefiting There With Care at Todd Creek Golf Club in Thornton, Colorado. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, volunteers, and guests, this year’s tournament raised a record-high amount, over $72,000. U.S. Engineering has been a proud partner of There With Care for years, and we thank our golf tournament participants for joining us in this effort to raise money for an organization that plays a vital role in our community.

Since 2005, There With Care has been helping families with day-to-day activities that become difficult to manage when dealing with their child’s serious medical issues. The organization’s programs include assistance with transportation, meals, home maintenance, information technology, and more. Over the years, There With Care has served thousands of families, with 160-180 families receiving services at any given time.

The tournament featured door prizes donated by sponsors and vendors, gift bags, warm-but-beautiful weather, the traditional golf ball cannon, and a new featured device, the Go(lf)-Skeeter (a skeet shooter that launches golf balls). Also new this year was U.S. Engineering’s sober ride program: the company offered free Uber rides home to anyone who wanted one.
