UMKC New Student Union

 The four-story facility houses offices, a two-story bookstore, dining areas, a coffee shop, a theater, and student common areas. The project required a collaborative approach to meet the building requirements, as well as proactive solutions for future mechanical tie-ins. This project achieved LEED^® Certification by evaluating the cost and operational impacts to multiple LEED® options in order to reach the Gold threshold within the budget.
