The Wellington and Timnath Middle-High Schools expand educational opportunities within the growing Poudre School District, giving local students access to state-of-the-art facilities close to home for the first time in over five decades.

U.S. Engineering Construction served as the mechanical design-assist partner for both projects, supporting the delivery of two modern, flexible schools that accommodate up to 1,500 students each. From preconstruction through completion, our team provided pricing support, constructability feedback, cost trending, and value-engineering proposals to maintain budget alignment and design intent.

By phasing the two projects six months apart, U.S. Engineering Construction applies lessons learned from Wellington to Timnath, improving efficiency and accelerating delivery. Despite the staggered start, the Timnath Middle-High School finished just four months after Wellington, reflecting our team’s commitment to continuous improvement and schedule performance.
