Safety Is the Heart of All We Do

At U.S. Engineering, safety is more than a policy—it’s a culture that defines how we work every day. We believe that every Team Member deserves to return home safe and healthy, and that responsibility belongs to all of us. By prioritizing safety above all else, we create an environment where people can thrive, projects succeed, and communities benefit. Our record, our partnerships, and our ongoing commitment all point to one truth: safety is non-negotiable.

Build Safe Partnership

We are a certified Build Safe Partnership Program member, working alongside The Builders’ Association and OSHA. This alliance promotes safe, healthy work environments across our industry and reinforces our responsibility to lead by example.

Believe in Zero

Our “Believe in Zero” philosophy reflects our unwavering goal: zero incidents, every day. We expect and empower every Team Member to embrace this mindset, because one preventable injury is one too many.

OSHA 30 Training

Every field supervisor and project manager completes the OSHA 30-hour safety training. This rigorous education equips leaders with the knowledge and accountability to recognize, prevent, and address hazards on every jobsite.

Safety Meetings

Monthly safety meetings keep best practices top of mind. From fall protection to electrical safety, these sessions give Team Members the tools and awareness they need to identify risks before they become incidents.

Daily Reviews

On every project, Team Members conduct daily job hazard reviews. By anticipating and addressing emerging risks, we ensure that safety is not just a standard: it’s a shared responsibility.

Safety Council

Our enterprise-wide Safety Council brings together safety professionals from across U.S. Engineering companies. Meeting regularly, the Council reviews practices, shares insights, and develops policies to strengthen our safety culture organization-wide.
