The Microvast Battery Plant supports the manufacturing of high-performance 53.5-Ah battery cells and modules used in commercial vehicles and energy storage systems. The renovation and expansion project transformed the existing facility, growing it from 577,000 to 687,000 square feet, to accommodate every stage of the production process.

The upgraded facility includes environmentally controlled dry rooms, a new quality lab with advanced testing equipment, and multiple environmental testing areas to ensure safety and precision. Phase 1A of the project introduced to a new 2GWH production line within the existing structure, a new Mixing Building, and an expanded office space.
