Clay joined U.S. Engineering in 2010 as a large construction project manager after serving more than a decade in the Army, including five years in Special Forces. Clay then transitioned to the Service team, and in 2018, when the organization restructured forming four operating companies under the U.S. Engineering Holdings umbrella, Clay was named the President of U.S. Engineering Service. In this role, he leads a company that provides full-service mechanical system offerings for existing buildings – from ongoing preventative maintenance and facility optimization to 24-hour emergency service. Central to those offerings is a focus on sustainability and the total cost of ownership.
Clay attended the United States Military Academy at West Point where he played varsity football and graduated in 2000. Clay holds an MBA from the Bloch School of Business at UMKC and is a member of the Board of Directors at reStart.
