37,000 addition | 21,500 renovation

Boulder Valley School District’s Louisville Middle School project consisted of demolishing a portion of the existing school and expanding on the facility to house classrooms, a wood shop and a new auditorium. A portion of the construction took place while classes were in session, and required complex tie-ins to the existing utilities without shutting down the occupied areas of the existing school. The goal of this project was to increase learning space and optimize facility operations. The project was completed with minimum disruption, under a tight schedule and reached the ultimate goal of operating under high-efficiency mechanical systems.
