Mercy Hospital Joplin
Sisters of Mercy Health System
Following the violent tornado that hit the City of Joplin in 2011, the Joplin Replacement Hospital construction quickly began; with U.S. Engineering Company as the mechanical contractor. The state-of-the-art hospital consists of central sterile mechanical rooms, operating rooms, patient rooms and a clinic tower. U.S. Engineering participated in the engineering design by modeling directly with BIM fabrication software and simultaneously performing unparalleled preconstruction services. This process shaved months off the construction schedule.
