Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital Heritage Project
Video featuring the prefabrication process
U.S. Engineering was a key partner in the successful completion of this project, and the company was featured in Mortenson Construction’s video (also see the infographic at the end of this page):
The new replacement hospital is 827,300 sf and features a remote 21,000-sf central plant, a new 306,900-sf parking garage/retail space, and a 38,200-sf remodel of the Russell Pavilion (medical office building).
The eight-story hospital includes: 350 patient rooms; 24 ORs; multiple pharmacy and lab areas including a BSL-3 ready lab; multiple dietary areas, including a kitchen; labor and delivery rooms; various office and support spaces; and a two-story equipment room on the third level with 17 AHUs. There is also a roof-top helipad.
U.S. Engineering streamlined construction of this design-assist project by leading the multi-trade prefabrication of more than 260 corridor racks.
