U.S. Engineering’s Chairman & CEO, Tyler Nottberg, has earned a distinguished recognition as one of the 2024 Junior Achievement of Greater Kansas City (JAKC) Business Hall of Fame Laureates. This accolade places Tyler among an elite group of leaders who have significantly impacted Kansas City’s business and community landscape.

Junior Achievement of Greater Kansas City honors leaders who embody a spirit of innovation and a commitment to shaping a robust economic future. Tyler’s influence extends beyond his role at U.S. Engineering, where he has exemplified strong, visionary leadership. His deep commitment to community and education has made him an influential advocate for systemic improvement. In 2011, he co-founded Aligned, a nonprofit organization dedicated to engaging business leaders in education policy reform across Kansas and Missouri, with a focus on driving sustainable, long-term change.

The JAKC Business Hall of Fame celebrates those who lead with purpose, combining business success with community engagement. Tyler’s impact through various philanthropic boards and his dedication to promoting education and health across the Midwest underscore the principles Junior Achievement seeks to instill in young people: leadership, innovation, and a sense of community responsibility.

The 2024 class of Hall of Fame Laureates also includes Lisa Ginter, CEO of CommunityAmerica Credit Union, and Vu Radley, Co-Founder and Creative Director of MADE MOBB. This group was celebrated at a ceremony on November 7 at JA BizTown®, a hub for youth education and economic learning.
Tyler’s induction into the Business Hall of Fame highlights not only his professional achievements but also his enduring commitment to making a meaningful difference. We’re proud to see his leadership recognized on this prestigious platform, inspiring the next generation of Kansas City’s leaders.
