Congratulations to U.S. Engineering Detailing Lead Jason French, who recently was elected president of the Plumbers and Gasfitters Local 8 Union in Kansas City. In his role, Jason will lead the union’s monthly meetings, participate in contract negotiations, and represent the interests of his fellow union members.

Jason, who started at U.S. Engineering Construction over five years ago, has been in the plumbing industry for 16 years. In addition to serving on the Finance Board and E-Board for Local 8, Jason has been a training center instructor for 6 years and an instructor for the United Association Instructor Training Program at the national level for 3 years.

“I am excited about the possibilities ahead and honored to serve as the next Local 8 President,” Jason said. “I look forward to working with our members to make Plumber’s Local 8 stronger, safer, and more successful than ever before.”
