May 17, 2024
Last week U.S. Engineering’s Rocky Mountain region celebrated the grand opening of our new Northern Colorado office. This strategic expansion underscores our commitment to serving our clients and community with unparalleled expertise and innovation.
Located in Johnstown, the Northern Colorado facility started operations about a year ago. This location houses offices and a cutting-edge ISO-5 certified clean room to support high-purity fabrication. Opening this facility allows us to contribute to critical industries, including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, semiconductor manufacturing, and other high-tech sectors that demand stringent cleanliness and contamination control.
“Opening our Northern Colorado office is a significant milestone for U.S. Engineering,” said John Marlow, Vice President of Project Development at U.S. Engineering Construction. “This new location not only expands our geographic footprint but also strengthens our ability to provide specialized services in high-purity fabrication. Our team is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of quality and precision, ensuring that we meet the exacting requirements of our clients.”
High-purity fabrication is a specialized area within the mechanical contracting field, involving the construction and maintenance of systems that require extremely low levels of contaminants. U.S. Engineering’s expertise in this area includes the design and installation of ultra-clean piping systems, advanced filtration systems, and environmental control systems essential for maintaining the integrity of sensitive manufacturing processes.
The Northern Colorado office is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed by a team of highly skilled professionals with extensive experience in high-purity environments. This facility will serve as a hub for innovation, allowing U.S. Engineering to deliver solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers while adhering to the highest standards of safety and compliance.
At the grand opening event, team members and clients toured the facility and witnessed the high-purity fab team in action, while Drew Shawver (Director of Operations), Jackie Becci (Project Manager), and Edgar Salazar (Foreman) explained the process.
