This week U.S. Engineering secured the 2024 Innovator of the Year title at the Advancing Prefabrication Conference in Denver, underlining our influence in the construction industry through innovative prefabrication and modular construction practices.
We stood out among our peers for our commitment to advancing these practices, showcasing ingenuity and forward-thinking strategies that redefine the standards of construction. The judges chose U.S. Engineering because we’re an organization that “that honors innovation, expertise and investment in advancing the future of prefabrication and modular construction in the industry.”
U.S. Engineering Metalworks President Brandon Wikoff, who delivered a presentation at the conference and was featured in a panel discussion, and Metalworks Vice President Kevin Sears accepted the award. Wikoff expressed gratitude and shared insights into the company’s approach: “We accepted this award on behalf of all of us at U.S. Engineering. This national recognition is the outcome of the enterprise-wide strategy we’ve been developing for a long time: investing in our facilities, technology, process, and people to support the strategy.”
Wikoff acknowledged, “This is recognition for the work that every project team in every U.S. Engineering company has put into transitioning into maximizing fabrication plans on their jobs.”
Considerations for the award included U.S. Engineering’s years-long investments in manufacturing and fabrication facilities, workflow management software, training, data-driven production, logistics strategy, and data center construction partnerships, among other factors.
