U.S. Engineering Construction Safety Director Ben Kent was awarded this year’s Mark Banden Safety Professional of the Year. The award, offered by The Builders, a chapter of the Association of General Contractors, formally recognizes individuals who exemplify outstanding safety and health leadership within their organization and the construction industry. 

Traditionally, awardees are nominated by professionals within their own companies. However, Ben was nominated by someone outside of U.S. Engineering, a testament not only to his hard work, dedication, and commitment to safety in our sector but also to the high regard in which he is held by his peers.

Ben was recognized at The Builders Safety Excellence Award Breakfast on March 7 and will be featured in The Builders’ Modern Builder magazine. Congratulations, to Ben, on a well-earned achievement that applies our Core Values of ensuring a safe work environment and exhibiting integrity in all we do!
