Monday, March 7, marked the beginning of The Parade of Hearts, a public arts experience focused on the Kansas City Metropolitan area – the Heartland of America. U.S. Engineering Company Holdings CEO Tyler Nottberg and his wife Leigh Nottberg are Grand Marshalls for the event. They sponsored two hearts from the 154 that will be on display. U.S. Engineering sponsored two more hearts in the parade.

The Parade of Hearts benefits the artists as well as 4 organizations that have a major impact on the good of the community – AltCap, Visit KC Foundation, The University of Kansas Health System, and Mid-America Regional Council (MARC).

The Parade of Hearts runs from March to May. Visit U.S. Engineering’s and Tyler and Leigh’s hearts in the coming weeks at these locations:

• “Monarch Tribute” by Anthony High, Located at Satchel Paige Home – 2626 E 28^th St, KCMO
• “Culmination” by Damon Scruggs, Located at 233 S Cherry St, Olathe, KS
• “Kansas City Kaleidoscope” by Jean McGuire, Located in the Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park, Lenexa KS

To kick off The Parade of Hearts, sponsors and artists were invited to the Private heART Unveiling & Exclusive Artists Meet & Greet. Tyler and Leigh attended and snapped some photos with our sponsored artists and their hearts. They were excited to see firsthand all the original artwork that is based around the historical and iconic KC Heart.
