John Marlow Named Vice President of Project Development, Rocky Mountain Region

John Marlow has been named U.S. Engineering Construction’s Vice President of Project Development for the Rocky Mountain region. John is a cultural champion, and his 24-year tenure at U.S. Engineering has embodied the spirit of transformational leadership.

John began his career with U.S. Engineering as a project manager, later transitioning to chief estimator. Today, John focuses on developing relationships and pursuing large construction contracts in the Rocky Mountain region. In 2021, he was asked to be the acting interim Vice President, and under his leadership, the Rocky Mountain team exceeded their goals. He also helped formulate U.S. Engineering’s 2022 strategic plan and led the effort to introduce customers to our enhanced preconstruction abilities.

John’s strong commitment to training and development has been a cornerstone of his personal and professional legacy. He is a registered engineer, an Advanced Leadership Institute graduate, a DBIA-certified professional, and a Toastmasters International member. Internally, John has spearheaded countless developmental programs. Externally, John strengthens our industry through participation on the Rocky Mountain MCAA education committee and the National MCAA Project Managers Education Committee. He is a member of the National Board for MCAA.

John leads by example when it comes to giving back to our community, and he always supports and encourages Rocky Mountain team members to engage in meaningful endeavors. His community involvement includes Metro Denver EDC Executive Committee, American Heart Association Hard Hats Committee, AHA Letter Campaign, and the There With Care Board of Directors. John’s philanthropic side shines especially with U.S. Engineering’s annual golf tournament, where proceeds go to charity.

In this position, John will continue to excel at developing meaningful and long-lasting relationships with our customers.
