Colorado State University Football Stadium

644,000-square-foot stadium

This 644,000-sf stadium is the new home for the Colorado State University football team. Located on campus, this will be a focal point for students, faculty, and visitors to the university. The stadium has a capacity of 41,000 and includes a state-of-the-art scoreboard and sound system, an array of first-class concessions, and premium accommodations for the football team. This LEED Certified facility will also host a variety of other events for the community.

Due to restrictions from the city and the strict completion date, all construction had to be completed within 20 months – much less time than it usually takes to complete a project of this size and complexity. This schedule, paired with significant design changes throughout construction, resulted in many challenges. However, the stadium was ready to host the first home football game on August 26, 2017.

Other mechanical highlights include
