Jun 18, 2019
The Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA), the Kansas City American Subcontractors Association (KCASA) and the Women Construction Owners & Executives USA hosted a presentation about the Kansas City International Airport (KCI) New Terminal last week. Preconstruction Manager, Vince Pianalto was invited to present on U.S. Engineering’s design-build role in “Delivering a World-Class New Terminal for Kansas City.”
The Kansas City International Airport is the largest single infrastructure project in Kansas City’s history and is bringing thousands of new jobs and opportunities for KC businesses through its design and construction. The presentation touched on teaming, project scope, schedule, early procurement, design-team coordination, design efficiency, balancing colocation through joint office space, design-build and design-assist subs, constructability and live budgeting.
U.S. Engineering is incredibly proud to be a part of this historic project and proud to have Vince Pianalto represent the organization at this event.
