The scope of the Boulder Valley School District’s Louisville Middle School project involved demolishing a portion of the existing school and expanding another to house classrooms, a wood shop and a new auditorium. A portion of the construction took place while classes were in session and required complex tie-ins to the existing utilities without shutting down the occupied areas of the existing school.
The goal of this project was to increase learning space and optimize facility operations. U.S. Engineering equipped the school with high-efficiency mechanical systems and completed the project with minimum disruption under a tight schedule.
