Johnson County’s new criminalistics laboratory consists of 63,000 sq ft and houses nine specialized labs requiring unique environments, such as air pressure, air flow, temperature, noise and odor control.

The new facility also includes office and support spaces. The project is registered as LEED® Platinum and incorporates numerous sustainable features including geothermal heating and cooling, heat recovery, day lighting control, low-flow fume hood, demand-based ventilation eater conservation, and solar photovoltaic technology.
