Byron Rogers Federal Building

The Byron Rogers Federal Building was constructed in 1964 and houses 11 federal agencies. U.S. Engineering served as the mechanical contractor for the renovation, which consisted of upgrading the building’s heating and cooling systems.

The project team coordinated with the GSA building representatives to ensure security compliance without any unplanned building service disruption to this 24/7 operating facility. The project team also successfully completed the heating, cooling and domestic water construction in the occupied facility while maintaining tenant comfort. U.S. Engineering’s goal was to give the building an additional 10 years and increase energy efficiency.
