During the Midwest Region’s monthly safety meeting on May 24, Safety Director Mike Zykan announced that the region had officially crossed 1 million hours worked without a lost-time incident. The ongoing streak is in its 17^th month.

In addition to Kansas City-area projects, regional work during this time period spanned from Manhattan, KS to Oklahoma.
