NEWS & INSIGHTS > Our Community > New Rocky Mountain facility meets performance expectations
Apr 12, 2016
When U.S. Engineering moved into its new Rocky Mountain Region office, the company had put in a lot of effort selecting energy efficient systems. A partner in that effort was Xcel Energy, who highlighted the project in a two-page case study.
U.S. Engineering worked with Xcel Energy to secure an $18,875 rebate to apply to energy efficient upgrades to mechanical and electrical equipment in the new office.
An excerpt from Xcel Energy’s case study:
U.S. Engineering is dedicated to discovering the needs of a building and anticipating how that facility will evolve over time. So when it came time to design the energy systems for their own consolidated Rocky Mountain Region office, it was vital to lead by example and demonstrate the value of system analysis and the benefits of using innovative ideas and technology.
