WESTMINSTER, Colo. – U.S. Engineering Company, answering the strong demand for a centralized and modern regional office, recently relocated to the Park 12 Hundred development near 120th Ave. and I-25. The build-out of an existing warehouse was completed in 4 months, and includes 28,000 square feet of office space and 7,000 square feet of warehouse.

In relocating, U.S. Engineering Company consolidated its three Colorado offices. The company maintains a fabrication facility in Loveland, CO with plans underway to relocate and expand the facility in 2016.

“We’ve been in Colorado since 1967, and we’re very proud of what we’ve been able to contribute to our local communities over the past five decades,” Tyler Nottberg, chief executive officer for U.S. Engineering Company said. “We’re also excited about what the future holds, and these investments reflect that.”

“Our new location extends our heritage of delivering excellence in mechanical construction and positions us to support the growth of the Rocky Mountain Region,” he said. “Our goal is to offer our employees a highly functional space in which to collaborate and serve our clients.”

The office design provided an opportunity to “Walk the talk,” Nottberg added. “With our focus on delivering the highest performing buildings with the lowest cost of ownership, we felt it was important to demonstrate those priorities in our new facility.”

High performance features include the addition of efficient windows and skylights, increased insulation, LED lighting, and occupancy and daylighting sensors. The new mechanical system includes indirect/direct evaporative cooling (with no mechanical compressors), heat recovery, premium efficiency motors, VFDs – direct drive fans, VAV distribution, condensing boilers and HVAC control sequences.
