The JILA (Joint Institute for Laboratory Astrophysics) facility is one of the leading physical science institutes in the United States. The addition to the existing facility on The University of Colorado campus consisted of mechanical rooms and clean rooms, as well as state-of-the art laboratory, technical, office and collaborative spaces. Post construction, the project was awarded the Special Judges Recognition by ENR Mountain States for the “2012 Best Projects of the Year.”
