Denver Public Schools Energy Conservation Project
Denver Public Schools
Chevron Energy Solutions Company
Denver Public School’s energy conservation project consisted of renovating fourteen schools in the Denver metro area. The overall project goal was to decrease energy consumption by replacing old, inefficient mechanical equipment with new, high efficiency units, which controls the IAQ for over 1.2 million square feet. The project team overcame the challenge of the short project duration with exceptional pre-construction efforts in order to start the new academic year on time. These efforts included outstanding coordination among the project team to produce a workable schedule, value engineering and 3-D detailing.
